As Michael was crossing the finish line, Earnhardt had already gone into the wall. Many, many questions will be asked about what NASCAR plans to do in the future about the type of walls that surround most tracks, especially since Earnhardt's death is the fourth in less than a year. Whether you love him or hated him, Dale Earnhardt was one of NASCAR's biggest stars. He will be missed not only by NASCAR fans and drivers, but the entire sports world.
